Latest example: commenting on the defamatory allegations contained in ABC-Disney's 9/11 "crapumentary", the League notes:
"The letter sent to Robert Iger, president and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, by the senate Democratic leadership shows contempt for the First Amendment: they are not registering a complaint—they are demanding that the film be cancelled."That's right. Nothing here about defending Catholics, lots about bashing Democrats (all for taking a principled stance against a tissue of lies that even conservatives have defended). What happened to standing up for the truth?

An observation - I am sure that the Catholic League would have also called for the cancellation of the show if it happened to contain inaccurate information about Catholics or Catholicism.
So when are we hearing a scathing condemnation of the pope's lecture in Germany? I liked the take some European papers adopted: The remark would have been fine coming from philosopher Ratzinger, but it was absolutely improper for Pope Benedict. Unless, of course, he wants to take on Islam as a religion. Can we interpret Morning Minion's silence as evidence of embarassment?
